We are so happy that Julie Perren has agreed to be an Ocean Surfski Ambassador! Her range and depth of experience and knowledge on the ocean is hard to beat, and her calm and modest professionalism is inspiring.
Julie discovered kayaking after moving to the South West 20 years ago. Now living in Falmouth, Cornwall she enjoys the freedom to explore the diverse coastlines of the UK and further afield in Jersey, France, Norway and Western Greenland.
Although sea kayaking is her first sport she enjoys the different challenges of surf ski paddling also white water kayaking, canoeing, and K1.
Julie is a British Canoeing Advanced Sea Kayak Leader, Performance Coach, a Sea Kayak Award Provider. As a former British Canoeing “She Paddles” Ambassador, Julie has encouraged and inspired so many women paddlers to get onto the water. As well as leading expeditions Julie co-organises the largest European Women’s Sea Kayak Festival, held in Devon in 2015, 17,19, 21, 23. We can't wait to support the 2025 WSKF.
