We are so excited to have Brynde Kreft in the UK, as a major boost to Britain's racing scene.
Brynde won her first South African Surf Lifesaving Nationals title at 16 and never looked back, honing her paddling skills doing the famous Millers Run downwind and training with the infamous Orka squad.
After moving to the UK for her PhD, Brynde also began competing in marathon and descent racing events, and hasn't let the change of climate affect her passion for paddling.
A fantastic addition to the UK surfski scene, Brynde also brings a wealth of experience to her local club in Oxford, Falcon where she is regularly coaching.
Her most recent successes on the Ocean include
- 1st Cape Point Challenge mixed doubles 2024
- 5th Cape Point Challenge 2024
- 1st Epic Bay 2024
- 1st Fishguard Open 2024
- 2nd GB marathon champs
- 7th Surf Worlds in the open women category 2024
A Fenn paddler, we are extremely proud that Brynde has joined our family of Ocean Surfski Ambassadors, so we can support her paddling and coaching during her time in the UK.
