Last season was a busy one! After starting the season with the UK ocean ski races, I was fortune to race at some awesome lifesaving competitions across Europe to prepare for the European Lifesaving Championships. In September, I was so pleased my hard work paid off by becoming the Open European Ironwoman Champion.

It’s been a challenging winter of balancing training and university but I’m excited to have be selected as Vice-Captain of the GB Lifesaving team heading to the World Lifesaving Champs in Australia this August. We’ve got a fab team and I’d love to come away with a medal in one of the team events, but my main aim is to enjoy the experience and learn as much as I can! I’ve also recently passed my medical school finals (woohoo) so I’ve got so much more time on my hands to get out in the water!
