We have worked closely now with Holly King from HK Physio Ltd, to support her pioneering work with ordinary people who have had extra-ordinary things occur to them, as illness, traumatic injury or life long, life changing incidents. Holly specialises in providing physiotherapy for amputees. Supporting the intense physiotherapy programmes Holly has put together packages of adventure rehabilitation, which significantly helps people to find new ways of living, to build confidence, for challenge and adventure.
Surfskis provide the idea vehicle to get people onto the water, many for the first time. Working closely with triple amputee Jon White and the Kayak 4 Heroes team over the years we have developed bespoke ways to adapt footrests, seats, paddles and steering surfskis that can be easily adapted to suit pretty much everyone and can easily transfer between boats.
